Agree - it's the metal RJ45 connectors and shield terminated at each end typically used on higher rated CAT cables... including CAT7 and some CAT6/CAT6A.

The main thing is to avoid Ethernet cables in your audio system that have the metal RJ45 connectors at each end (like many pricey audiophile brands). If your home network infrastructure uses shielded CAT cables and metal RJ45's, that's fine. Just use cheap Ethernet patch cables with the plastic RJ45's somewhere inline to your AV setup to avoid possible ground loops.
