Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Too Spooky for me, Mulder........

You know that I am not a 'believer' in certain audiophile tweaks and that includes pricey audiophool routers, network switches, power supplies for same, and fancy Ethernet cables. YMMV & YIMV (Your Imagination May Vary)

As an aside:

- U.S. mulls ban on Chinese-made TP-Link routers over security concerns. I posted about this a couple weeks ago as originally reported by WSJ.

- CAT8 and other "high-end" Ethernet cables have PROVEN to be the cause of ground loop hum in some setups as reported by Ivan303 right here in the Asylum. The outer most shield of the CAT8 cable (and others) is connected to the metal RJ45 connector at each end. My solution for Ivan303 was to use a cheap CAT5E patch cable with plastic RJ45 connectors at each end. Ground loop broken. Hum eliminated. No bits were harmed. Problem solved.

BTW - Audioquest will sell you thousand dollar audiophile approved Ethernet cables. They received rave reviews in the audio rags and I hear some dealers will even provide FREE cable burn-in service!
