Ok, the longer answer is:The article looks at jitter from an electrical engineer's
perspective, like most of the people in this forum in fact.Only that if you drop the idea of needing a nanosecond latency
and instead accept that maybe half a second latency is acceptable,
then you can use solid reliable computer technology to have an
error-free transfer of data where jitter has zero influence
on the bits, and use a real-time clock to output an absolutely
correct waveform.So all of this paranoia concerning jitter is a thing of the past.
You shouldn't be using equipment that lets jitter disturb your
hearing experience.
