I stumbled across this blog about restoring one [and man does he ever do nice work!] when I did a search to see if it's the model a pal of mine bought at a PX when he was active duty ... it wasn't, but the blog guy references it's big brother, the SX-828, and that was it
that was a really nice receiver!
