I think I will try to model and buld something a little bit less stable and see how it sounds.
As I mentioned the LCLC supply could breathe and the 1st cap voltage shows a touch of resonance in PSUD, mabye thesingle LC is just too tight.
Gosh I love this stuff when things start to make sense, It sure beats the heck out banging your head against the wall. Now that I remember it DHTRob did a supply with something like 9 chokes and 9 1uf caps. He showed the sim ( massive overshoot) but said it was incredible.
