True - I was thinking of the cheap-o EH 300Bs which aren't too badly priced. Honestly, 90dB speakers are going to need as much power as he can squeeze out of a SE amp. I wasn't happy with some music with my SE 300Bs and 95dB speakers.But I personally would go with Pentode/UL connected KT88s instead of triode connected.
