if the 75TL can't be hum-free on AC fils, I don't see how 4 of them in parallel are going to be any MORE hum free... ;-)DC doesn't sound bad, and it's way easier with tubes like these IMNSHO.
Dave Slagle - did you mean 845 or 485 as a driver? (485 = sparton tube?)
