I don't know if apologies are needed, but I think it is useful to know which way electrons actually flow. But then I made by living in electrophoresis. Gotta know which direction you want those ions to go. Hey, it's only one pretty simple concept to remember - the current convention points the arrows this way, electrons (negative charges) go the other way. If we want to make things easier in the long run, before we worry about changing electronic circuit convention, better those of us in the U.S. should maybe consider the metric system. :>).Sheldon
