Nicely thought out post. I'll only add that the guys who draw the arrows pointing in the direction that the "electrons go" (did these guys ever study Bohr and Heisenberg?) are called flowbs and support a theory that's just as theoretical as the rest of 'em. I have never held an electron in my hand and watched which way it rolled.People who use schematics as a universal language to communicate ideas should grasp that it's just a language, and as such it must be based on universally agreed upon grammatical rules. Drawing arrows backwards to the convention is like writing English from right to left after we all agreed it goes from left to right hundreds of years ago. Maybe it makes you stand out to do so, but you're gniog to lose ruoy audience pretty ylkciuq if every driht word is sdrawkcab.
