The purpose of my post that included the diagrams was to identify the capacitances involved making it possible to analyze the device in terms of simple LC circuits; no knowledge of coil winding required, though you do need to be able to recognize the L'c in order to draw up LC circuits to analyze. At this point I don't have the interest to tutor you on that.

You own a copy of RDH4. There must be a discussion of LC circuits in there. If not, find any introductory text on electronics.

If you want to understand the 'self-capacitances', then it would seem that the book you quoted in your post titled "The neglected factor: self-capacitance of coils ?" would be a good place to start. Those that I diagramed are exactly the same ones mentioned in your post.

I hope those are enough references to get you started.
