You know CJ, you have a lot of nice people here who are trying to help you. It is bad enough that you can't be bothered to say thank you. But you take it one step farther with your rudeness and challenge everyone to prove everything while you refuse to even attempt to explain or prove your wild claims.So I see no reason why I should waste time trying to find something on the web to explain where the formula I mentioned comes from. I suggest you look at the ham radio area. Given that Fc=R/2PiL for a shorted loop it shouldn't be too hard to derive the rule of thumb I mentioned. Offhand I don't have the reference, probably came from a ARRL handbook.
I am quite sure no matter what reference I provided you would claim it was wrong. I am equally sure if I was way wrong someone else would have corrected me already. Besides, if you really were interested you'd search yourself and if I was in error you could offer corrections.
