Timbo,The B+ supply in "El Cheapo" will give you more current than you could possibly use at very modest cost. The Triad N-77U isolation trafo has dual primaries, which make it suitable for use in both "120" V. and "240" V. zones.
Be CAUTIOUS about triode wiring the "finals". The screen grids in some power "pentodes" can be fragile. You might be better off pentode wired and use regulated g2 B+. You can still go Class "A" and forced symmetry.
