Just for the record: You can still purchase new tape, a well recorded cassette on any top end deck has excellent sonics, reel to reel sounds great but is pricey, and in a world where people pay millions of dollars for old ferraris that do not perform as well as new VWs I don't see what there is to complain about folks spending a few $100s on classic decks that do a damn fine job however you count.Wes
