I have two copies, I believe these were mistakenly duplicated from an RIAA EQed master. I bought the second copy as I thought the first was simply a bad dupe. I wish! I still haven't gotten the RIAA decoding-from-tape workaround done but once I do I expect the tapes might sound a lot better. As it is Time Out is just unlistenable. Tons of sibilance, harsh harsh harsh, no low end. Kind Of Blue OTOH is magical. It cleans the clock on EVERY other format I've heard. I have two copies of that as well. The first had three splices but I didn't care, I STILL love it. The second is pristine. I keep that one locked up as I HATE to play it. I just listen to the triple spliced one :D.
