best sounding r-r prerecorded classical tapes

I'm in the middle of a test of the better sounding r-r tapes, classical in particular and jazz/pop secondary. I wanted to ask you tape guys what you think is the best sounding tapes that you have and the general quality that you have found of the comercial offerings out there. I am, and I think many others, trying to build a quality collection of classical recording on r-r and so far it is hit and miss.I would love to hear from you long time collectors as to the labels and recordings to look out for. There are a few( more than I would have thought) r-r venders on ebay, and I doubt that they have any idea what they have and what is good or great. The price is right at the present and I would love to know what to look for and what to avoid. I defer to you better knowledge.
