I would be the first to admit I do not know enough to dispute many of these technical assertions or the naysayers (the credential game is rather annoying) however that does not invalidate my point that listening or testing oneself is the most credible way to disprove, simply relying on "what you know" (or think you know) when naysaying leads, more often than not, down the wrong path.
again I want to point out that, imperfect though it may be, the final client and judge of any audio theory is our imperfect hearing. the goal should be to improve the results as passed through that imperfect air/ear/brain interface so, to me, the contribution of listening tests has significance.regards, tony
