A recent reviewer of Parasound Halo gear in the amp/pre amp forum came to the conclusion that designing a quality pre amp is easier than designing other components. I think it`s easier to design a quality pwr. amp than pre amp. Limiting the choice to pre & pwr. amps, which presents a greater design challenge?
