Not because I agree with your views, but we need a haven for those who have such views...."Prophead needs to be moderated like the cable asylum, only more strongly."
Why not you be the moderator??
"People who don't accept well done DBT's absolutely should not be allowed to post."
You make the rules....
"Claims about the sampling theorem allowing distortion at high frequencies (under fs/2 for baseband sampling) ought to be moved to outside. People who persist in saying silly things like that ought to be banned from posting."
Just put in a rule that misinformation will be promptly deleted. And you are the final arbitor.
"Claims that dithering 'masks' distortion rather than eliminating it oght to be moved to outside. People who persist in this should be banned from posting in this forum."
Whatever you say....
"People who claim that the noise floor of a properly executed digital capture behave differently than an analog signal with the same noise floor should have their compost shuffled away to the 'anti-digital' forum. People who persist in this should be banned from posting."
Or call it the "misinformation" forum....
"The outright woowoo types (see www.randi.org for what a woowoo is) have their home in the cable asylum, where their unsupported observations are king."
Unless consensus have similar observations....
"Since they won't have the courtesy to be quiet and allow prophead to function, even as the ghetto they intend it to be,"
OK, JJ....
"let's see them banned from posting here. Unfortunately, there's no way to require them to read 'here'."
But if the information is valuable, it will naturally be a draw....
"Much like most sensible people avoid the cable asylum and its slanted, dishonest, glory-hogging moderation, the woowoo's can avoid this asylum, instead of the present stalking, insulting, and interference in real discussions."
No problem....
"It's time.
"Greene, Banquer, Eddy, Geddes, myself, etc, deserve their own forum, and one where it's not the in thing to lie wholeheartedly about what they've said, done, who they are, what they want, etc."
I think Eddy has drifted to the "neutral" category....
"It's time that some kind of equity is restored."
Go for it.
The only problem is people could post rebuttals on other forums.... But I don't oppose a forum on AA with a policy similar to that of Hydrogenated Audio....
