Re: I second the Non-OS Dacs

If non-OS means non-oversampling, I probably agree (have little direct experinace). I do not believe one can improve on the original source and all attempts to try that I have heard make things worse. That being said, if I get a ADC and convert analog to digital in the future, I would probably want to record at higher sampling rates that what CD uses and I would like the device I buy to be able to play it without down-sampling.

BTW, what is the difference between oversampling and upsampling, or are the the same?
