That's a great insight into circlotron performance

(I presume your output topology is circlotron type.) Paul used to advise customers to use the lowest multiplier possible with his autoformers, I think because he felt their presence became audible at factors above ~4X. However, your findings suggest that one should start at the highest possible multiplier and work down, to find the best sound. I will put this on my list as another thing I need to try.
