how can one amplifier be "more neutral" than another and at the same time "not necessarily more accurate"? I apologize for seeming to give you a hard time, but these are the kind of ambiguous remarks often found in published reviews in audiophile magazines, and they are very confounding. This is not to say that I am hopelessly biased in favor of OTLs; I'd like to mess with a (transformer-coupled) SET at some point myself. The problem for me is that I have yet to hear a speaker that I would want to own that is suitable to be driven by an SET.
