Hello Paul,no, I think a single choke with center tap is ok.
If you use a zero for impedance matching, you have
the choice to connect the CT. Maybe it has some
effects, floating might get more exact centered,
but maybe the independent action of both phases
in the stock units sounds much better ?You must know, that I'm not an OTL purist. For
true OTL I would use a huge amp like the MA-1/2.
But its a lot of dissipation for the daily few watts.Best regards,
