....."So far no-one has seemed to build a successful (toroid) example"......It would be quite the honor to be the first to ever build a successful toroid audio transformer, but I don't think that I could possibly be the pioneer here. I simply understand the requirements needed for a successful impedance matching device and found another engineer who was able to not only meet, but surpass my specifications. The result has proved to me to be a completely successful pair of prototype toroid autoformers.
It is unfortunate that some of you will have to wait a couple of weeks to judge for yourselves if a successful toroid autoformer is possible. I invite all future ZERO owners to share with us all of the good and bad findings with them. I am thrilled with the prototypes and confident that they will perform extremely well in many different systems. Enjoy!
