Wow, you really put me in a predicament. I was intending for the RCA's to go on happily with my equally diminutive PP pentode Telefunken amps, but SET's really did sound nice.
I am not sure of actual sensitivity specs on the speakers, but considering they did play comfortably loud (albeit lousy sounding) with the line output of a CD player, I imagine it is fairly high.
It would be easy enough to breadboard a nice SE 45 amp, and I have the globe 45's which you suggest.
I can always switch back to pentodes if depending on the mood and the music.
