Wow... another Oswald's Mill blowout!

Many thanks to jweiss for another tremendous weekend of mind-boggling gourmet cooking (oxtail stew! leg of lamb! goat cheese omelets! pancakes!), great listening to a formidable array of rare vintage and extremest state of the art DIY gear, and fellowship with many of the premiere solder sniffin' crazies out on a weekend pass for this annual event.

I'm not the one to give a play by play, as I spent much of the time out on the porch enjoying primo stogies (thanks to Stevie B) and indulging in speaker geek and old-cars-we-have-loved conversations. High points for me listening wise involved Doug E.'s RCA MI-4411 field coil 1940s Olson full rangers in sure 'nuff RCA laboratory test boxes, those incredible LC-1As doing that voodoo that they do so well, RCA-fan's new compact bass horn, and the Mill's newly relocated and tweaked (as of Sunday evening) fire breathing RCA field coil big azz horn system... holy cow! We enjoyed Muddy, Zappa, very strange and beguiling percussion, trains, planes and helicopters at full volume and newly minted levels of believability.
