Mike, I had the same experience with them. My 9000es went to them 3 times. Each time it came back, it was in worse cosmetic condition. The last shippment to me, a nice chip off the front was done by them. I took my complaints to Sony in San Diego. Laredo offered me a pro-rated compansation for my player and I took it. I had to really fight for it. Went out and bought a Marantz!! It will be really tough to buy another ES product with service like that. Good Luck.Jack
