Don't know if this information is valid anymore, but when Laredo smashed up my SCD-1, the Service Manager was Adriana Jimenez, and the General Manager was Arnulfo Gonzalez. I had to lean on both of them pretty heavily to get things moving, but they did fix the player. I never got another proper box though. FYI, it's important to make sure to tell whoever you talk to that you know your problem is not an isolated incident, even though they will try to tell you it is.
