I consider $629.00 as a expensive component not entry level. Music Hall's entry level turntables are the mmf-1, and the mmf-2.1.The mmf-5 has frills plenty and is a major step up from the mmf-1. It's a dual-pilth design, has a built in bubble level, record clamp, glass platter, gold RCA connector and finish is Piano Black Lacquer with a $225.00 Goldring 1012 GX cartridge. Entry Level? Maybe midprice if not lower priced high end!
The Everest 200 Gram will retail for $33.00, but I will be buying them at discount of course closer to $27.00 - 28.00 each closer to $850.00 but I only will be buying a couple at a time so it doesn't hurt so much.
I like the AMC tubed pre-amp and its phono stage. There is better, but better cost money!
