But I know, for sure, that I can load an SACD, a DVD-Audio, a video DVD, and a CD and it will automatically switch internally to play them all.I *do* have to switch my pre-pro from 6-channel in (analog) to Digital in when going from the SACD, DVD-Audio, and DTS-capable video DVD discs to CDs, but it only takes a few seconds and can be done without firing up the TV.
I don't like the fact that the dumbass engineers at Yamah placed the slide-out tray *above* all the transport controls (how fuckin' dumb can you be?), but I've learned to live with it. The fact that I paid only $235 delivered helps to soften the blow.
And, to these old ears, it sounds pretty good...
