Dalton,On the Marantz DV9500 and 9600, in the audio setup menu titled "other", their is a pure direct setting you can select. You can select video off, digital off, and display off for option #1. Option #2 shuts off digital off and video off. Display remains on. Once you choose one of these, when you load a SACD or DVD-A, it automatically goes to the analog outs. Maybe your 7600 has a "other" in your audio menu? Good luck.
