If you have an ICBM, you are half of the way there. You do not need or want bass management in the processor. The players in both of my systems (Esoteric DV-50, Denon 5900) have stereo outputs which are active whenever the analog 5.1 outputs are active. If that is the case with your player, simply run cables to the front L,R inputs of the ICBM and set the low pass filter appropriately (I use 40 Hz). Also, run your 5.1 LFE output to the LFE input of the ICBM. Blend the LFE and the front L,R signals in the ICBM and run a cable from the sub output to the LFE input on the processor. You are done.
