Hej, you didn't suggest a cable change or a tube tweak. I've noticed the mic stand bump on the Pepper disc. Heck, I hear them on a lot of discs. Especially live to 2 track, even with > two mics recording it. I guess that is due to if it happens on a 24 track redo until you get lucky on the track you are recording, they wouldn't keep the flaws, warts and all. Even if the recording is many mics to two live tracks, that is OK with me. That is proof that the musicians really are just that. And that the engineer is up to his snuff. So basically we'll now hear from the analog junkies saying that they don't hear the problems on the Fresh Air disc. So it must have been mastered better, thus more proof of the medium's superiority. The problem must be the CD medium. Or could it be because that LPs really may not be as high a resolution as the digital these people can not stand?
