Hi.A few months back, I acquired a double album of some operatic work, one disk being DVD-audio stereo (24/192) & other being CD stereo(16/48), from the same identical master.
Yes, the sonic difference is sorta nite & day. DVD-audio being better.
Likewise, I got Beethoven 9th Symphony on DVD audio stereo 24/196 format last Chritmas. It sounds so much better than all the other CDs of the same orchestral work I have.
One day, I wish we can try Blu-ray stereo audio. It would be even better.
