The only problem though would be finding someone in the VA with that exact setup who happens to be here today. But you are right. How do I know if my Ace would sound good on a different table and arm, or how my Goldring would sound on the same arm but different table?That's why I think (and here is a big confession) that picking tables, arms and carts, and phono stages, is a a leap of faith. At least for people like me (and, I would suspect, most others) without the time or money to constantly experiment. Too many damn variables!!
