I have owned the Grado Sonata, and although my opinion is only that, an opinion, I actually preferred the lesser priced Platinum Reference. The Sonata seemed a bit drier in its presentation, but both cartridges are musical. Whenever I hear a Grado, I instantly compare it mentally to the plastic Signatures of yesteryear, and the Sonata that I owned fell short of the mark. That isn't to say that it didn't sound pretty good, but it wasn't worth five hundred dollars, either. The Platinum Reference, on the otherhand, was well worth the three hundred dollars that it cost. It isn't as good as a scant few of the old Signatures, but it is better than most.Sorry, but I have never owned the other two you mentioned.
