Once you learn how to do this safely (pkell44 said it very well) you can do this at will.I enjoyed tweaked P&S outlets for years. Then I tried Furutechs and was amazed how much better they were. Now I'm onto Oyaide, and they're better still.
In between you might want to consider for $30 the cryoed versions of the 8200 MRI outlets from P&S (read Al Sekela's testing reviews on this board for more info).
