Hi, What a timely post. I just installed a Oyaide R1 audiophile outlet. What a huge improvement over a generic non audiophile outlet! Improvements include: Detail, dynamics, speed, transparency, soundstage, EVERYTHING!!! It may require a little tube rolling to fine tune (lots more high end energy) but I can't overstate the improvement. All for $134 including shipping. The most cost effecive tweak I have ever experienced. Does anyone know if there is a break in period on outlets? To answer your question silence. You will notice holes on the side of the outlet. You thread the bare wire through this hole and then screw it down to clamp it. Some outlets can accept the wire curled around the screw and clamped that way. Best regards.Bart
