I already replaced the 12AX7s and the 12AU7's with some nice NOS tubes. They improved the sound a lot. I'm just looking for feedback on the power tubes now.By the way, I had also tried a set of TungSol 6550's which I didn't care for. I also tried a set of Ei KT90's. I haven't tried any EL34's yet. On the suggestions above I might try them too.
I went ahead and ordered the Valve Art cryo tubes because I'm curious about what they might sound like.
Going back to my original question... Any opinions on cryo'd tubes? Opinions on Valve Art? Opinions on Chinese versus Russian tubes for the Prima Luna?
