I'm really enjoying my SED EL34s in my PL2... nice, warm, and musical. Love 'em. TS 6550 sound really nice to my ears as well, to me at least they sound a little better for rock music, but I keep on putting the EL34's back in. I'm a sucker for the warm sound, though.-mb
