I agree with you in principle, but this area is so rife with charlatans, that I believe a little light should be shed on the situation. All of audio is subjective and every tube review is all the more disclaimed to this effect. If I can share some pearls of wisdom (like the ones you have cast) and can walk away a little clearer and more knowledgable then the process of seeking specific tube characterization becomes the end in itself.It's interesting to see how polarized people are on this subject.
