Im glad Im not the only one that finds some newer production kt88 and 6550s to be as good or better than my NOS gene/gec kt88s.
As far as the tungsols go and the SEDs,the tungsols generally need more burn in time and then they develop a nice rich sonic structure.
I was telling Jim Mchshane that about how nice the EH 6ca7 BB sounded in the marantz 2's after about 70 hours on them.
