Isnt that somthing how that JJ kT77 just kicked everything out of the way in its path? Your the second person that told be its better than the GEC KT77 and I knew it would be becuase the GEC KT77s I had didnt sound any better than a good el34.The JJ's however just stomped them and yes the kt90s are very good in the older ones..I have some original EI VTLs and those sound fabulous and I used to hate the kt90s I had with a passion until I had gone on Jim Mcshane's site and realized what I was doing wrong..If you under bias the kt90 it will sag like a pregnant cow..The new kt90s arent too good tho according to Jim so I have been afraid to buy anymore.I agree with your tube findings.
