his reponse was they are constantly improving their tubes and they are aware of the problem..I asked him about the tube bases if they switched suppliers and he said they have becuase of the fact they broadend their tube line and now the new supplier has more of the bases they need..Hes looking into the small pin issue and the bottle issue for now and when I mentioned tuning the midrange in the kt88,he told me they are working on a replacement for that tube within a year so he doesnt forsee much change on the current kt88.
