Hi Russ!Honestly, there isn't a single JJ like that IMHO. They don't make any tube that isn't also made by someone else that makes them right (the one possible exception is the 12DW7). A few JJs like the ECC99 are unique, but there are other tubes that can do the job. If I was unable to use ECC99 I could use 6H30Pi, 12BH7 EH, or similar.
I just thought of one possible tube - the JJ 2A3 with the 40 watt rating. Possibly.
