I'm not familiar with your ARC, but I assume it has a 6550 as a voltage regulator.I suggest you replace it as well. After all, four years is a long time, and that 6550 might be regulating the voltage on the other 6550 screen grids.
I suggest you buy a set of "Winged C" 6550's. They hold up much better than the Svetlana's.
