HiI have an 'issue' with one of my 6550s in my ARC D70. The silvering in the top of the tube is vanishing. It's almost clear on top apart from two main blobs on either side (one big one small) where the others are all still pretty opaque. Is this an indication of a problem?
The tubes are relatively new (about a year old) and were brand new matched pairs (russian Svetlana) now with a few hundred hours on them.
I've checked the bias and got them all running at spec, I do this quite regularly (every month or so).
