In most of their tubes..The kt88s I have feel like the winshield on my automobile and I have literally dropped them on a hard floor and it didnt crack them or hurt them one bit..No I didnt do it on purpose!! There is somthing to be said about the high quality glass that some eastern european manufacturers are using tho.I know it has an effect and another thing I like about JJ is,you can call the company direct and talk to top level management and I can talk to the owner at times to which is nice. They always are interested in the input from the buyers becuase they use this data to rectify problems with the tubes.
