like the Stokes board. The 6sn7 is an octal tube so you would have to repunch larger holes for the 8 pin socket instead of the 9pin miniature socket that is already there. Electrically you could use the same schematic and same value of resistors. Distortion wise the 6sn7 produces much less than a 12au7 by a great magnitude. It's a bigger tube with much larger conponents. Better not bite off more than you can chew if this is a first project. Good luck! Ray
