I've got the VR1s, because that's what I could afford, but auditioned the 4jrs several times. Loved them!Be aware that these take different room placement than many other speakers. Consult a VSA setup manual, but it's an equilateral triangle with a wide stance that's needed.
Yes, he's right about the 400 hours to break in the woofers and probably about the filling too.
