Dear LB,We never made all MDF speaker cabinets, they sound just terrible, but over the years we have moved from,
1.) soft chipboard front and back with hard MDF wrap, to,
2.) Birch plywood front and back with hard MDF wrap, to,
3.) All Baltic Birch Plywood, this is all we supply now.
We had for a short while an all chipboard cabinet with a vinyl finish to try to meet a lower pricepoint, but these were discontinued about 4 - 5 years ago, but may now, due to popular demand (the world is a funny place, things are only in demand when they are not available!) be reintroduced.
